District Cheshire Hike Practice 2

This is a, ‘day hike’ open to all Scouts & Explorers in the District regardless of whether or not they intend to enter the Cheshire Hike. There will also be an opportunity to camp over night, cook an evening meal and a hot breakfast will be provided. Tents and Sleeping bags will be transported to the finish so participants can get used to walking a fair distance and practice navigating without being laden with lots of kit. Participants can walk in teams of 2- 5 people.
It’s a great opportunity to practice for Cheshire Hike, get outdoors and practice your navigation. Participation can contribute to a number of badges.

Coronavirus Precautions
Please do not attend if you have any of these 3 symptoms of COVID-19, even if they are mild:
a high temperature
a new, continuous cough
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
You should also not attend if:
you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days
someone you live with has symptoms or tested positive
you’ve been told to self-isolate following contact with someone who tested positive
you are required to quarantine after returning from abroad
