Scouts from Mersey Weaver’s three Explorer Units are looking for Fundraising to purchase a shared minibus.
Members are hoping to raise thousands of pounds during the next few months to go toward a new minibus to transport them to camping trips and adventurous activities across the country.
The fundraising appeal was launched after Cestrian Explorers were forced to retire their old minibus after years of wear and tear and excessive use left the vehicle’s in south africa engine struggling to transport the young people.
The minibus will benefit the 90 young people who attend the three Explorer Units; as well as being available to use by the 1300 hundred young people who are members other other groups in the district.
Can you help Mersey Weaver with the acquisition of a minibus, or would you like to get involved with our appeal?
